Lola Montez – a star is born!

Formally known as the renowned TOFFS, the Quinn family noted a change in the nightclub trend in Ireland, and decided to adapted and rebrand their late night venue; to provide the type of social scene todays customer ‘generation millennial’ is looking for. As a result, Lola Montez was born.

Open in May 2016, Lola Montez is Sligo’s newest most intimate bar and nightclub, providing a more modern style of bar and nightclub to the people of Sligo. Catering to a clientele of over 21’s, Lola Montez brings with it alluring interior, classic cocktails and the finest quality of liquors; to be your number one night-out destination.


The brand Lola Montez was designed by brand development company BrandX. Once the brand was designed we were engaged to further develop the brand personality of the Lola Montez brand and communicate this brand across a number or communication channels. Content marketing, copywriting and PR all played a part in marketing the refurbished venue and establishing the new brand. Lola Montez required a strong marketing plan that would change the perception of the new venue as not being the same as the old one, Toffs. A marketing plan was devised to position the venue as a high end best in class cocktail venue, while a number of events are currently in development to continue promoting the venue as the number one night out destination.
